How an order runs
You deal with PAXIS from the first question to the last shipment. Behind that sits a network of vetted factories in China and our own team in Dongguan, who work in those factories week by week.

Nine steps from RFQ to shipment
RFQ and drawings
You fill in the short form or email us directly. We reply with where to send your drawings. Send a PDF drawing with tolerances and revision, a 3D model (STEP) if you have one, material, finish, quantities and your target date.
You get: a confirmation. If you need an NDA first, we sign yours before you send anything.
Drawing review
Before we quote, the factories and our team read the drawing and raise questions: material availability, hardness, thread depth, coating contact points, clamping points. We translate and send them to you. Any change is approved by you in writing.
You get: a short list of questions, or a clear "no questions".
Factory quotes
We send the RFQ to 2–3 factories that suit the part and compare price, capability and lead time.
You get: nothing yet. This step is our work.
One quote from PAXIS
One price per part and quantity, with typical lead time and EXW terms.
You get: a written quote from PAXIS.
Purchase order
You place one PO with PAXIS. We place the job with the chosen factory and our team follows the schedule.
You get: an order confirmation with dates.
First articles
For new parts, the factory makes first-article samples (often about 10 pieces) before series production, when needed. Production starts after you approve them.
You get: samples and an inspection report against your drawing.
Production and inspection
The factory inspects to your drawing or QC sheet and supplies reports. Our team checks on site. On early orders we require 100% inspection of appearance and dimensions, not sampling.
You get: inspection reports, and material reports or certificates where required.
Packing and shipping
Parts are packed and photographed before and after packing. We ship EXW: your forwarder collects from the factory or from our team in Dongguan. Air, sea (LCL), or courier for prototypes and small lots.
You get: packing photos.
Repeat orders and problems
Repeat orders run with the same factory and the same inspection requirements, unless you approve a change. If a part is out of spec, we work out root cause and corrective action with the factory and give you an 8D report when you require one.
You get: one contact for the whole history of the part.
Our factory network
We don't own factories, and we don't pretend to. We work with vetted factories in southern and eastern China, most of them in Guangdong. Each job goes to a factory that suits the process, material and quantity, and finishing work such as anodizing or coating goes to specialist shops the factory works with.
Factories stay in the network on results: drawing questions raised early, first articles that pass, reports that match the parts.

Who you talk to
- One contact at PAXIS for quotes, orders and problems, by email at or@paxis-hk.com.
- Our team in Dongguan speaks with the factories in Chinese and with you in English.
- Status updates by email, with photos from the factory when something needs your decision.
- Questions from the factory are passed to you in writing, with a clear question and options, not a forwarded chat.
When we are a good fit
Good fit
- Custom parts made to your drawing (build-to-print)
- Prototypes that will go on to repeat production
- From a few prototype pieces to tens of thousands of parts
- Parts that need a finish, a material report or an inspection report
- Kits that combine parts from several processes
Not a good fit
- Parts with no drawing, where you need us to design them
- Next-day emergency parts
Have a drawing ready?
Send us a short request. We reply by email and tell you where to send your drawings. Questions about a drawing before you are ready to quote are welcome too.
