Quality checked in the factory, by our own team

Quality on a PAXIS order has two layers. The factory inspects every order to your drawing and writes the report. Our team in Dongguan then checks on site: 100% inspection on early orders, and photos of the parts before and after packing.

Four points where we check

  1. Before the quote

The drawing is reviewed and questions are raised: material, hardness, threads, coating contact points. Any change is approved by you in writing before production.

  2. First articles

For new parts, first-article samples (often about 10 pieces) are made and inspected before series production, when needed. The series starts after you approve them.

  3. During production

The factory inspects to your drawing or QC sheet.

  4. Before shipping

Our team checks on site. On early orders that means 100% inspection of appearance and dimensions, not sampling. Parts are photographed before and after packing.

What you receive

Tell us at RFQ which documents you need, so they are part of the quote and the factory order.

  • Inspection report against your drawing or QC sheet
  • First-article report and samples, for new parts
  • Material reports or certificates, where required
  • Photos of the parts before and after packing
  • 8D report on a non-conformance, when you require one
  • Material compliance documents on request

If a part is out of spec

Tell us, with photos or a measurement if you have them. We work out the root cause and corrective action with the factory, and confirm the fix with you. When you require it, you get an 8D report.

Real examples from our orders: a coating that differed from the drawing, painted covers that cracked, rivets that were not flush. In these cases the factory found the cause and changed the process or fixture, and the customer approved the change before the next batch.

No silent changes

No change to material, finish, process or drawing interpretation goes ahead without your written approval. If a material is not available, or a finish needs a contact point on a visible face, we ask first.

Who measures what

Measurements are made at the factory, with the factory's instruments, and reported against your drawing. Our team checks the parts and the reports on site. We do not run our own measuring lab, and we don't claim certificates that belong to someone else.
